Kindergarten

For our youngest children we provide a warm, welcoming, happy, safe and secure environment catering for each individuals needs, enabling them to reach their full potential. We have places for children aged two to four years.

Our staff are fully qualified and experienced. We provide excellent opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play following The Early Years Foundation Stage. We promote child-initiated play alongside planned adult led activities. Activities such as painting, construction, sand and water play are always on offer. Adult-led group activities might include a musical instruments session, food tasting, a forest walk or ‘Letters and Sounds’ activities.

In addition we work on a one-one basis with the children on areas such as ‘Communication, Language and Literacy’  and ‘Numeracy’ to ensure every child is stimulated and able to move on in their development. Children also have the opportunity to take part in weekly ballet lessons and assemblies with Lower School.

We investigate a new topic each term, creating opportunities to explore the environment around us and incorporating relevant visits out to places such as Ray’s Farm, a local pet shop and garden centre, the local airport and the Wyre Forest. Topics over the past year have included ‘People Who Help Us’, ‘Animals’ and ‘Ourselves.’

We work in partnership with our parents and communicate regularly with parents through the School House Book, consultation meetings and reports that are sent home at the end of each term.

To find out more come and visit us to see what our children experience and achieve. Join us for an afternoon or morning as a complimentary experience session. We offer flexible sessions, hot lunches and you use your child’s nursery vouchers towards fees.
