The Dower House School is situated in a beautiful Grade II listed country house in the village of Quatt. Our extensive grounds offer opportunities for a wide variety of sports, a forest school and an outdoor theatre.

We are a family-orientated community where care and attention is given to pupils as individuals. Our class sizes are capped to ensure pupils receive regular tuition on a one-to-one basis. We are fortunate to have a number of specialist teachers and our pupils follow a curriculum tailored to their needs.

Personal development is first-rate and we are proud of the great academic and sporting achievements of our pupils. We place great emphasis on traditional values and our children are confident, articulate and well-mannered.

At DHS we consider ourselves to be a family where pupils, teachers and parents/carers work together. Our calendar is always busy with academic events, sports tournaments and drama/music performances both at home and away. We host a range of social events for parents too and our ‘Friends’ committee offers lots of opportunities to get involved.
