The Dower House School Council was first created in September 2007. The council has a representative from each class. They meet each term to discuss issues in the school, including fundraising and playtimes and to develop new initatives within the school.
Each year the council is elected by current pupils, taking part in a ballot.
Each term the Council produces a newsletter, including articles from children across the school.
In the autumn term the children organised a Pirate Fun Day to raise school funds, enabling the Council to purchase a new microscope, art and design equipment and maths games.
